Black Steel Full Pipe Couplings
Black Steel Full Pipe Couplings are heavy-duty merchant steel fittings designed for securely joining two threaded Schedule 40 steel pipes in industrial, commercial, and general utility piping systems. Manufactured from durable ungalvanized carbon steel, these couplings provide dependable performance in low-pressure applications involving water, oil, gas, compressed air, and drainage systems.
Fully threaded on both ends, these couplings are engineered to provide a strong threaded connection while maintaining compatibility with standard steel pipe systems. Smaller sizes from 1/8" through 2" utilize NPSC straight threads, while larger sizes from 2-1/2" through 4" feature NPT tapered threads for enhanced sealing performance.
Merchant steel full couplings conform to ASTM A865 and ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standards and are commonly sandblasted or lightly oiled to improve corrosion resistance during storage and transport. DIN configurations are also available for international and OEM applications.
